Being an entrepreneur is the dream of many people.
The idea of doing what you want, when you want, and make a lot of money doing it, is very appealing.
But that is not the life of an entrepreneur.
Successful entrepreneurs get up early (I’m writing this at 5:30 in the morning) and work late. Being an entrepreneur seems glamorous until you actually start doing it. It is a demanding, often lonely, job. And if you are not out promoting your business, you do not get a paycheck.
Being an entrepreneur means you need to be an expert in design, networking, advertising, marketing, bookkeeping, taking out the trash, cleaning the office, answering the phone, dressing professionally, and keeping a good attitude when your wallet is empty and your credit cards are maxed.
But there is nothing like the feeling that you get when it does finally come together and start being successful.
