Productivity time can be full of distractions and flying toys from children that want attention.
Which is why scheduling could be even more important for WAH moms than other home-based workers. Put your children on a schedule. Plan play time and nap time. Decide a specific time to dedicate to your children and to work. This is more difficult with an infant, but not impossible. Every child can get used to a routine. They will fight it at first, but it won’t take long for them to know when it’s play time with mom and when they need to play quietly. Just don’t get angry while they learn the new schedule. Help them to learn in a positive way and it will help them to be better at keeping a schedule when they grow up.
