When facing struggles in my business, it helps to remember why I got into business in the first place; to help others. When setbacks occur (especially financial) I ask myself if I am helping enough people. Am I properly motivating and empowering my employees? Am I giving great customer service? How can I do better? Can I donate some time/resources to worthy causes? The struggles seem to work themselves out when I concentrate on others.
It’s difficult to not think “how will this benefit me,” but it’s worth it.
