Hiring for Culture not Skill

Culture is all about personality, so determining if a potential employee’s culture will fit with your company culture can be done by understanding the candidate’s personality more. Here are a couple of good questions to ask when culture is more important than skills:

Describe your downtime. What do you do when you are not working? This will give you an idea of the candidate’s personal culture and let you know if it fits with the company culture.

Tell me about a time you had a disagreement with a manager and what you did? You can learn about their stress level, how they deal with different personality types, and whether they follow certain procedures.
